This darker standard round brilliant best side is flashes of brownish green over a yellow green. It has dynamic color because it is dichroic. It appears to be eye clean and weighs 1.27 carats. For unity a droplet of color.
There has been quite a bit of looking at this standard round brilliant stone before its color was figured out. At first glance it seemed almost like a gray, but then brownish flashes appeared. Now that doesn’t make a lot of sense, so the investigation continued. It was not being cooperative and refused to confirm any color. Under the yellowish light it turned a darker shade of yellow green without the brownish flash. But this was not enough to end the inquisition. Another round of natural light and the brownish flash appeared over a darker yellow green ground. Then the stone was flipped and the truth revealed. This darker mysterious stone was dichroic and clearly had a brown green and yellow green side. Would this less that stellar example of tourmaline color be accepted by the droplets. Now that it had come clean and it is eye clean, acceptance was assured since the quest is for all colors not just the eye candy show offs. This trying stone has a medium dark tone level and weighs 1.27 carats.
