This is a great gemstone. The Barion Cushion cut produces a bright flashy gem that mixes the pastel orange and richer orange together well. It is eye clean with good crystal. It weighs 3.96 carats.
This is a great gemstones. In natural light, the difference between the dichroic colors is pronounced. (The lighter toned orange being in the middle of the gem.) The a/b axis is a medium pastel orange and the c axis colors is a rich vibrant orange. When I put it under my yellow light the colors seem to fuse together and the cushion appears to be almost uniform in color. The Barion Cushion Cut pavilion produces a bright flashy gemstone by its nature and the tourmaline helps by being eye clean with excellent crystal. The crown has three rows of facets, which produces a nice open look. This gemstone really does not have any weaknesses. It weighs a nice 3.96 carats.
My mother loved citrine and when I cut one years ago, my mother just had to have it. She wore it all the time and as the years went by, it was pretty much destroyed. Still she love it. The rich part of the color of this posted tourmaline reminds me very much of that citrine given in love to my mother.
