This is a great saturated yellow emerald cut. The slight inclusions have no effect on the beauty of the stone. It is bright and flashy without a hint of green or brown. It weighs1.40 carats.
This lightly included yellow emerald cut was made from the last preform that I got out of two larger pebbles, I purchased years ago on the internet. The material has the best yellow without a hint of green or brown, I have ever obtained, but all the finished stones were included. I probably put off cutting the emerald cut, because this style of cut is very sensitive to imperfections in the rough. If the flaws lie under the table they can be very obvious, so I had some trepidation, when I started examining this emerald cut from years ago. I couldn’t see any problems with this smaller, brightly saturated gemstone! How could that be, was my memory failing me? As I began to write eye clean in the title, I finally spotted an area, on the side of the table, that appears to be in the crown with some very light inclusions. They have no impact on this truly beautiful gemstone. Seeing the inclusion did help me regain my faith in my memory and let me settle into admiring a great example of a very rare saturated yellow tourmaline that for all practical purposes is eye clean. It weighs 1.40 carats and I love it.
