This smaller emerald cut has steeply cut ends to minimize the darkness that comes from having a closed principle axis. Its spicy green color has more yellow in it than many green tourmaline. It appears to be eye clean and be quite transparent, where the closed ends do effect the stone. It weighs1.70 carats.
